Trichoblastic Carcinoma of the Upper Lip

Introduction: Trichoblastic carcinoma (TC) is a rare malignant tumour of pilar origin very often confused with basal cell carcinoma. It has un-codified and multidisciplinary care.

Observation: Moroccan patient, 69 years old, Farmer, non-smoking and without a history of pathology, presenting with trichoblastic carcinoma of the upper lip, resected twice, classified PT3N0M0 who received adjuvant interstitial brachytherapy.

Discussion: The discussion focused on the histological diagnosis of trichoblastic carcinoma and on the place occupied by interstitial brachytherapy in its management.
